Nate Cintas was born and raised in Point Loma, California. He began surfing Sunset Cliffs at 12 years old, and has been riding the waves here ever since. Nate also travels to Indonesia regularly and charges 4–10 foot waves primarily. Friends and fellow surfers will agree that Nate surfs with a strong passion, always out to get the best surf at the best time.

Nate has two sons that enjoy the sport of surfing with their father. Competitively, Nate Jr. has reached a level of surfing that few teens in our community achieve. While younger brother, Cole, continues to polish his performance with an inherent skill.

Locally, Nate is heavily involved in the community and his family. He recognized a lack of soul in the local surfing community—thus started the Point Loma Boardroom.
